Summary:Actor Toby Kebbell (RocknRolla, Prince of Persia) got the lead role in The Veteran, a new indie drama movie about the military's efforts to track suspected terrorists in Britain. The film is written and directed by Matthew Hope. The cast also includes Brian Cox, Ashley Thomas, Adi Bielski and Tom Brooke. There's no official release date yet, but the film should be released sometime in 2011.
The film follows a soldier (Toby Kebbell) who returns from a tour of duty in Afghanistan and who is recruited to become an undercover operative keeping tabs on possible troublemakers. But as he gets deeper into the mission, he starts to uncover disturbing links between how the government agencies are conducting the war on drugs and combating terror
