Summary:Lionsgate has changed ‘Conan 3D’ back to its original title ‘Conan the Barbarian’. Jason Momoa stars as as the sword-wielding Conan.Robert E. Howard’s pulp novel warrior is brought to life again in director Marcus Nispel’s fantasy action adventure for Nu Image/Millennium Films. Jason Momoa stars as the sword-wielding Conan the Cimmerian out for revenge against the evil Khalar Singh, who enslaved and slaughtered the people of his village.
Marcus Nispel has been set by Nu Image/Millennium Films to direct “Conan,” ending a nine-year development ordeal to reinvent the Robert E. Howard-created barbarian first immortalized onscreen by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1982.
Rose McGowan has joined the cast.McGowan will play an evil half-human/half-witch.“Avatar” villian Stephen Lang has joined the cast as the warlord Khalar Singh.
