summary:

I’m not comic book nerd, probably because I got ripped off on a bogus copy of Superman when I was in 6th grade, but, to me, Captain America ranks above Thor in popularity and awareness, yet this release seems to be hyped more. The movie poster alone gets the blood flowing. Kenneth Branagh as director? Interesting choice. He’s mostly helmed Shakesperean remakes, which I’d watch to skip reading the books/plays, but if he can bring that fiery acting intensity to a Hollywood blockbuster overflowing with CGI and special effects, you might be looking at the best Marvel pic of the bunch. If you’re only exposure to Thor is “Adventures in Babysitting” then you should probably know Thor is “a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war.”  As punishment, he’s sent to Earth where he battles the most dangerous villain in the world, Spencer Pratt.

Warner Bros is planning a new Tom and Jerry movie. Instead of an all-CGI movie they're considering a hybrid CGI/live-action movie with the rival characters in CGI evolving in a live-action setting (like Alvin and the Chipmunks). The film is currently listed for a 2010 release at IMDb, but haven't heard of this Tom and Jerry movie since quite a while, so I guess it has been postponed...

"The new Tom and Jerry movie is an origin story that reveals how Tom and Jerry first meet and form their rivalry before getting lost in Chicago and reluctantly working together during an arduous journey home."

"The way I view it is it’s almost like sibling rivalry. It’s the way my brothers and I fought growing up, Tom and Jerry fight. So, it’s a well-known show internationally as well because historically Tom and Jerry haven’t spoken a whole lot and so it translates well into other languages.

The first Last Airbender movie hasn't been released yet, but you may get ready for the Last Airbender 2. From what the movie trailers revealed so far M. Night Shyamalan's movie adaptation of Avatar the last Airbender looks awesomely epic, and one doesn't need to be a soothsayer to foresee that the public will embrace Shyamalan's take on the Last Airbender and ask for more. Besides Shyamalan has been aiming at a trilogy from the start, he wants to follow the same narrative structure as the animated TV Series.




The first film is an introduction to the world of the Last Airbender, and introduces us to the different characters, it explains why Aang, Katara and Sokka have to undertake their dangerous journey. It's actually 'Book One: Water' from the animated TV Series.



So the movie sequel to the Last Airbender will be based on 'Book Two: Earth':



Plot of the Last Airbender 2:

"Following the events of the first film, Aang and his friends leave the North Pole and head to the Earth Kingdom for new adventures."



The cast of the first film will of course be back for the Last Airbender 2, with Noah Ringer as Aang the Avatar, Nicola Peltz as Katara, Jackson Rathbone as Sokka, and Dev Patel as Zuko.



No official release date yet, but I think that the Last Airbender 2 may be released in 2011, but no later than 2012 for sure. So it's for soon!

Summary:
Screenwriter Kyle Ward has been hired to pen the script of Hitman 2, the movie sequel to Hitman. The news surfaced online via Variety.

This new Hitman movie would follow Agent 47 as he's trying to get back in shape: the bald hitman must build himself back up psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle as the world’s most feared assassin. Some elements from the fifth opus of the videogame series would also be used in the movie Hitman 2.

Fox is aiming at a release end of 2010, but we guess it will more likely be released in 2011.

So far no announcement regarding the cast of Hitman 2 or about its director. It's not even sure that Timothy Olyphant will reprise his role as Agent 47, but it does not seem unlikely.

Hope to have more details about the movie Hitman 2 soon.
